Welcome to the Acoustical Society of America's North Carolina Chapter!!
Our chapter was established in 1966 and has grown to become one of the most active regional
ASA
chapters. We have members from North or South Carolina, parts of Virginia, and parts of Tennessee.
We meet twice annually: once in the fall and once in the spring. The location of the fall meeting varies, but the spring meeting is usually held in Raleigh.
Anyone interested in acoustics is invited to attend our meetings, and Society membership is also open to all.

Spring 2013 Meeting Schedule
Announcement of the Spring-2013 Meeting of the
North Carolina Chapter of the Acoustical of America

April 11th (Thursday) and April 12th (Friday)
The North Carolina Chapter of the
Acoustical Society of America will be having its Spring meeting on the 11th and
12th of April. The meeting will be held at the Hampton Inn and Suites located
just off I-40 in Raleigh on NC-54.
Thursday will be a special day focused on
the challenges of audio in reverberant spaces and we encourage all our audio
members and associates in the field to join us. Friday we have a great meeting
including several noise related papers. If you are interested in presenting
there may still be a few slots available for both days. Please contact our chair
