Welcome to the Acoustical Society of America's North Carolina Chapter!!
Our chapter was established in 1966 and has grown to become one of the most active regional
ASA
chapters. We have members from North or South Carolina, parts of Virginia, and parts of Tennessee.
We meet twice annually: once in the fall and once in the spring. The location of the fall meeting varies, but the spring meeting is usually held in Raleigh.
Anyone interested in acoustics is invited to attend our meetings, and Society membership is also open to all.

Spring Meeting 2012
The North Carolina Chapter of the
Acoustical Society of America is proud to announce its annual Spring meeting. We
will be hosting May 18th 2012 at the lovely
Haw River State Park Conference Center.
Reservations for the night before have been reserved. Contact the

information.
The meeting will engage topics based upon
Acoustics in Nature and the
influence it has on our daily life. This is a
multi-disciplinary series so everything from Archeology to Zoology. Live Music
etcetera, so please stay
